Karen Madi is a multidisciplinary creative based in Dubai. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a minor in Studio Arts from the American University of Beirut. She also recently completed a short course in filmmaking at Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts and Technology in Berlin. Her practice spans photography, film, illustration, and creative direction, often exploring the relationship between people, place, and the overlooked details of everyday life.
Her work moves between commissioned and personal projects, with a focus on fashion, lifestyle, and culture. She approaches each project through a process of visual research and intuitive storytelling, and shoots primarily with Fujifilm.
